Chef Caesar

Greetings and salutations!!

I'm Chef Caesar, and I'm glad to make your acquaintance!

If you hadn't noticed, I'm a sock monkey. Though I live in Horseheads, NY I'm originally from Vestal, NY. I'm mute -  most sock monkeys are - but I hear and write just fine. Being a mute chef is challenging, but my Sous Chef Daniel and I have worked out a system of hand gestures, and we communicate just as well as any speaking cooking pair does.

I've been cooking since I was old enough to hold a whisk. I spent many an evening in my mother's kitchen, watching and learning while my friends were out swinging through the trees. One of the things I love is trying to incorporate fruit into foods where you normally wouldn't think of adding them - like blackberries over ham, or mangoes and mandarin oranges in rice dishes.

I'm gay, and in a committed relationship to the monkey of my dreams, Leopold. Together we have an adopted daughter, Miri, who is six, and an adopted infant son, Damien. We have a dog named Spot, and a cat named Fluffy. We're currently in the process of having our first house built.

Other than cooking, I like to travel, read, and watch old 'B' horror movies.
